A little irritated...

I had gone back through facebook and pulled all my status remarks about Lincoln's antics for the past couple years and now they have been deleted or unpublished somehow.... I had also added a few pictures that seem to have gone away as well... oh well, I'll try to do it all again tomorrow!!

It's been a while...

Once again, it's been a while. It seems like I'm consistent and then I fall short... And this one is going to be short on writing... but I'm going to put quite a few pictures in here, so that should make up for it.

Lincoln and I went to Fort George Park and Connaught Hill Park a few days ago so I'm going to put those pictures in here. I'm on nightshifts again, but then on these days off -- I'm really going to try and write more frequently.

But for now, I'm going to upload some pictures and then head off to bed!

Well... it's been a year... ish...

Here we go again....

I was going to start a whole new blog-site, and in fact I did, but then decided that really, I don't want to loose what I already have so I'm back to this one and decided just to add to it, but I'm starting fresh so please enjoy the posts of the past and bear with me as I play catch-up to add all the new things I wanted to write about and just didn't have the time. If you've read my face book page, a lot of this may end up being repeat reading for you, but I want to cut and past a bunch of stuff from there and get everthing in one place. Thanks for your patience.

Hello (again)!!

Welcome to our Website!

                                                                

I've started this page for a couple (or more) reasons and since I don't want to go back and delete my original posts, I'm putting an introduction in the middle here. It doesn't make much sense really, but it's my page so I can do what I want. (Feel free to comment if you wish). So, back to my 'middle' introduction.

 First (and most importantly) is to be able to show it to Lincoln when he is older. Secondly, a lot of my friends and family have told me, multiple times that I should be writing down all the things Lincoln does or says and this seemed like as good a place as any to do that.. And the final reason is just for my own pure selfishness. I want to be able to look back at Lincoln's childhood and remember all the things we did together as well as the things he's done or said on his own.

​ Most of this site will be able Lincoln, HOWEVER, I am going to try to create a page called "Rhonda's Rants." I have a lot of opinions about everything and I figure I may as well rant about them as well. If you don't want to hear my opinion or listen to me go on about things that annoy me, you may want to avoid that page and just enjoy all the wonderful things on here that are directly related to Lincoln. I had a previous blog, but I wasn't great at keeping up with it so I plan to start fresh now.

On that note, if you want to hear about the most wonderful little son in the world, (just my opinion of course - I also have the most wonderful nieces and nephew in the world!) read on... otherwise, thanks for stopping by and take care!

I keep trying...

I keep telling myself I'm going to stay on top of this and then I get busy and don't get around to it. I'm going to try and commit to doing at least one a week, but again, we'll see what happens.

So, it's June 4th. I can't believe it's already June!!

Lincoln's growing like crazy and talking more and more and he's getting a mind of his own as well. The other day I asked him if he was ready to go and he said, "Not Yet."

I teach him all these cool things and then when it comes time for him to show off his brilliance, he won't perform. He knows all the words to the 'Hockey Song' but other than Allen, I haven't been able to get him to sing it for anyone! Half the time he won't even sing it for me anymore! And to try and get him to sing it on camera is pretty futile, though I did get him half singing it and I'm going to attach that video. It drives me nuts that he knows all the words but just won't do it when I ask him too!!

Okay, that's about it for now, I'm going to add some pictures and the video, but Lincoln's ready for a bed and I just don't have much time to write anymore in here. I will get back to it though.

It's been a while...

Jamie came to visit....

Today Nanny, Grandpa came to visit and they brought Jamie with them.

On friday I was talking to Dad on the phone and Lincoln wanted to talk to Grandpa. I put him on the phone and Lincoln asked him if he was coming to visit. Grandpa said, "No, I'm not." Lincoln's little lip puckered out and started to tremble and he asked again "Grandpa - you come and visit me?" And Grandpa again said "No." That was the end of it. Poor Lincoln started to shake and cried soooo hard. He was just sobbing!! The poor little guy!!!

Anyway, they came down on Friday night, but by the time they got here Lincoln was already in bed. Today he got up and they played. I was asleep when he woke up so I didn't get to see his reaction to Jamie, Grandpa and Nanny being there, but I'm sure he was excited.

I slept most of the day and Lincoln went shopping with Nanny, Grandpa & Jamie. One thing that does stand out today is this. I was brushing Jamie's hair while Lincoln was in the bathroom watching. I finished with her ponytail and told her she was done. Lincoln looked up at her with this adorable smile on his face and said, "Jamie, you look so pretty." It was very very cute!! I tried to video him saying it again, but it didn't really seem to work much. We're going to take them to Bubba Baloos tomorow so I'm sure I'll have some pictures to put on here then.
